SOVEREIGN SHINES – A FESTIVE FAMILY EVENING RAISING FUNDS FOR TWO CHARITIES

To help boost community spirit and raise much needed funds for two amazing local charities, this year’s Sovereign Shines will be marked with an array of onshore entertainment at The Waterfront.

On Friday 9th December between 4pm to 8pm, expect a magical atmosphere with live performances from The Eastbourne Community Choir, meet Santa and a real reindeer family, explore American police cars and from 2pm enjoy a Christmas market with gifts and treats from local businesses.

From Friday to Sunday take part in a festive elf hunt around the harbour. Find 10 cheeky elves and take a picture of a hidden Santa to show the team at Planet Golf and get a festive treat – sponsored by the Sovereign Harbour Berth Holders Association. Download a map of the Elf Hunt here.

An evening to help raise funds for both the RNLI Eastbourne and Children with Cancer Fund – Polegate hosted by Premier Sovereign Harbour in collaboration with the Sovereign Harbour Berth Holders Association and the Rotary Club of Sovereign Harbour. The Waterfront will become the central hub for residents and visitors who wish to stroll around the harbour to take in the Sovereign Shines light spectacle, enjoy the onshore entertainment and finish the evening with a meal at one of the onsite eating establishments.

The Christmas market will also continue into Saturday 10th December (10am to 3pm) in conjunction with the charity Santa Stroll, organised by the Rotary Club and Premier Sovereign Harbour as main sponsors. The full list of market stall holders will be announced later this month.
