On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May The Waterfront hosted a successful Pop Up Artisan Food Market – stall holders offered visitors a fantastic choice of local produce, from cured meats, sough-dough bread, pastries, chutneys and sweet treats, including Scottish tablet and tray bakes.
Onsite restaurants, Ganges Indian and Thai Marina also served up an assortment of curries, samosas and skewers for visitors looking for a hot bite to eat and 4 Seasons restaurant hosted a series of live cookery demonstrations; including showing how to fillet and cook sea bass and the numerous ways of cooking perfect scallops.
A Peruvian band entertained the crowds on both days, creating a relaxed atmosphere for those sitting outside the various Waterfront restaurants, enjoying the sun.
Coming soon – The Waterfront children’s urban beach, which is set to open in June for the whole summer.
