Community Sparkle – Join Us In Making The Harbour Shine This Christmas

Help us light up the harbour with your boat or house this Christmas for a spectacular Sovereign Shines in aid of two amazing local charities.

Now in its sixth year, Sovereign Shines will bring a magical light display to the harbour for all to enjoy. Little and pretty or overboard and extravagant – the mission is to get as many Sovereign Harbour boats and houses involved.

With some fantastic prizes to be won including a lift, high pressure wash and launch and luxurious Christmas hampers, organisers are fundraising for the local Eastbourne RNLI Lifeboat and Care for the Carers, East Sussex.

To enter simply complete your details below and decorate your house or boat as festively as possible, remembering to send a photograph of your masterpiece to sovereignshines@eastbournewaterfront.co.uk along with you address details/pontoon berth number.

Lights will need to be up and registered by Sunday 5th December. This will help us to ensure that your display is included in the judging which will take place from 6th December to 13th December.

Winners will be announced the week of 13th December via email.

Please be kind to your neighbours and switch your lights off by 10pm.

    Entries need to be made by Sunday 5th December and are restricted to one per category i.e. one house decoration and one boat decoration. This will help us to ensure that your display is included in the judging which will take place from 6th December to 13th December. Winners will be announced the week 13th December via email.

    The competition will be judged by a panel comprising employees of Premier Marinas Limited and members of the Sovereign Harbour Berth Holders’ Association and Rotary Club. The judges’ decision is final and there are no cash alternatives to the prizes. The judges will be looking for the best dressed boats and houses and will award prizes accordingly. By entering this competition you signify your agreement that your boat or house may be photographed and that photography may be published.

    You also agree that your competition entry form may be stored by Premier Marinas until 17th December after which time it will be destroyed.
